Laurelhill V Edmund Rice
The winning streak continues for our U13 girls with a 5-1 win on Wednesday afternoon.
A nervous team took to the pitch on Wednesday afternoon, the girls had already faced this team last year and knew what they were up against. The first half saw Laurelhill dominate the game with a 2-0 lead and Tilly C securing both goals. Edmund Rice put pressure on the girls especially on the wing with some fast play keeping Miley Mc and Myliee M on their toes.
Edmund Rice attacked back with two great chances however Chloe M was on her toes and saved both from going into the back of the net. Our defence were the stars of the show Lacey S, Mia W, Niamh P and Lucia E making sure that our back line was strong.
Tilly C went on to score a third goal with Charley L and Kaci M securing goals for a Laurelhill win.
Laurelhill are now into the quarter final of the NI Cup.
