The Year 9 netball team secured an impressive victory against St Colm’s with a final score of 15-5 in an exciting and well-contested match.
From the outset, the team displayed excellent coordination and determination, taking an early lead in the first quarter. The attacking duo Charley and Mia worked seamlessly, converting opportunities into points with super shooting. The defence was equally solid, with Lacey intercepting numerous attempts by St Colm’s to narrow the gap.
As the match progressed, Year 9’s teamwork and communication shone through. All players took the court throughout the game, maintaining a smooth flow of play and ensuring consistent pressure on their opponents. Despite some goals from St Colm’s, Year 9’s defence held firm, restricting their scoring opportunities to a minimum.
Player of the Match goes to Molly for their outstanding performance in mid court, demonstrating composure, and consistency throughout the game.
This well-deserved win reflects the hard work and dedication the team has put into training. A great first game back after the Christmas break! Well done girls!
